2023 HEAT AWARDS PRESENTED AT VACP AND VSA

The Virginia State Police (VSP) Help Eliminate Auto Theft (HEAT) program presented the 2023 HEAT Awards to Virginia law enforcement agencies and officers to recognize their efforts in reducing vehicle theft and theft of vehicle parts across the Commonwealth.

First Sergeant Peter Lazear, HEAT program coordinator, presented the awards on September 11 during the annual conference of the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police & Foundation (VACP) held in Norfolk and on September 19 during the annual conference of the Virginia Sheriffs’ Association (VSA) in Virginia Beach.
