VIRGINIA STATE POLICE HEAT PROGRAM COORDINATOR HONORS RETIRING SHERIFF

First Sergeant Peter Lazear made a presentation to Sheriff J.J. “Joe” McLaughlin at the sheriff’s retirement celebration, held Sunday, November 19, 2023, at New Kent High School. Sheriff McLaughlin is retiring after 42 years of service to the New Kent County Sheriff’s Office. F/Sgt Lazear recognized Sheriff McLaughlin for his outstanding support of the Help Eliminate Auto Theft Program.
